Each and single time I leave a place, a house, a home, a friend, it is sad but each and single time little butterflies appear in my stomach, an excitement of the unknown, of the adventures that are about to arise. For sure I try to have nothing more than positive energy about the next days to come, nothing like expectations or hopes, I have learn they too often disapointe you.
So my next destination is in a forest in northern Ontario; a hippie festival for one week. So I never though I could actually go to a festival on my own. Few years ago, I could have never done that. I guess we change for better! Just thinking about this next journey to come makes me nervous. Well, in a good way I mean. I am looking forward to it as it is a different kind of festival this time, a festival where I can learn to do Yoga properly, where I can chill and take time for myself, where I can meet nice people and share. Where I can play my music, have a jam with other musicians and learn from them. Where community is a big part of the festival, where you volunteer, cook and share vegan healthy food. This is something I have not all experienced yet. Yes I have been to Burning Man (and going again this summer) but this was madness, love madness too but need to experience other stuff as well.
Well, we'll see how it goes, 7 days in the forest, survival mode.

super excited!
growth is good and so is change!!!
I am so happy for your adventures. Make as many memories as you can. Collect a rock or dirt and label it of that event happening and leave something in return. Stare at the stars in wonder, listen to others about their paths in life, share your experiences to ones ready to listen. Never be afraid to ask questions. Leave a fingerprint of your being with as many as you can. Most of all be safe.
bigrichard, this is so nice. thanks. I had a blast, shared so much music and energy, tasted and smell new stuff, experienced something wonderful with good souls. learned a lot from it. was intense.... Om.
What a great opportunity. How very exciting and rejuvenating! I want to go!
next year's Om Festival will be amazing again I suppose, you should go if you have the time! :)
Ahhhhh... a hippie festival. Kind of reminds me of my teen years in the mid to late sixties. You know... coffee houses, love feasts, pot parties, folk and rock music at its finest... Woodstock. Been there... done that. I hope you enjoy the replay. You are right... there is much to learn.
hehehe...for me there is much to learn indeed as I was born in the 80's and have not lived that ever, just starting and enjoying it pretty much!. :)
